Areas marked in green are Public free fishing stretches, open to anyone to fish, regardless of membership status with any club, all that is required is an Environment Agency rod licence.

All members of affiliated clubs can fish any of these waters, however members do not have the right to fish any waters belonging to clubs making up Dunelm AA. & the T.A.A..

All members of D.C.A.C. have access to waters controlled by the T.A.A. but do not have access to waters owned or leased by other T.A.A. affiliated clubs
Night fishing on the Killingworth water is tightly controlled and permission has to be granted before starting to fish.
If prior arrangements have not been made then be expected to be asked to leave SEE

Killingworth Night Fishing Rules
Killingworth lake is a day ticket water. The same respect for our fish stocks may
not be given by an outsider. Please be observant and assist if anyone looks as if
they are struggling to land, unhook or release fish.
All Club rules as Items 1 to
27 apply together with the following: -
i. All park rules must be adhered to at all
times.
ii. NO live baiting and NO coarse fish dead baits are allowed.
NIGHT FISHING
These will be strictly enforced.
1. All general club rules must be adhered to as well as rules listed below when night fishing.
2. No day ticket holders will be allowed to fish after dusk or before dawn.
3. As in the general rules there will be no fires allowed with the exception of petrol or gas cooking stoves.
4. No radios, stereos or TVs to be used without personal earphones.
5. No vehicular access.
6. All anglers must be off the water one hour before any competitions of any kind starts.
7. No visitors to the bank sides between the hours of 11pm to 7am unless of necessity.
8. No rods to be left unattended (anglers must be within 15 yards of their rods at all times).
9. No minding of pegs i.e. if a member is absent from his peg for more than two hours he must vacate the right of the peg he was fishing.
10. Noise must be kept to a minimum. Please adjust sounder volume so as not to cause undue annoyance to persons nearby.
11. Any rule breaking of any kind could result in the offending member being expelled from the club.
12. there is litter on the peg you are fishing “IT IS YOURS”.
13. Pegs will be considered to be 15 yards apart giving each angler 7 1/2 yards either side to fish.
14. When night fishing, junior anglers must be accompanied by a senior member.
15. An angler may not occupy the same peg for more than 3 days and 2 nights in a row.
16. A maximum of eight anglers per night to be allowed to fish and fishing is only permitted from the bank opposite the houses, (south bank) only. Under no circumstances will night fishing be tolerated on the house bank. Any member found to be night fishing on the house bank will be banned for life from THE TAA.
17. All night fishing must be carried out under a strict booking in system, please contact the TAA on 0791 983 5944 if you wish to make a night fishing booking.
18. Any angler found night fishing without a prior booking will be expelled from The Tyne Anglers Alliance.
